I've been looking for a tach for about a year, to no avail until I saw this one in H.Hawk's site. The only "legitimate" response I had to my year's worth of searching was from AutoMeter, who said bike tachs are tough to make since there's so much vibration, and said their's was workable but also costs about $350. This Highway Hawk item seems cheap, but maybe it'll be OK. I might go ahead and order it to check it out, they offer a 30day MBG so if it's junk I'll send it back etc. I'd really like to have a tach so I hope it's a decent one.
I was, at one time, told by my mechanic that Suzuki does have a tach listed for our Savages, but that turned out to be BS, according to my inquiry to American Suzuki.
Anyway, we'll see how it goes, and I'll post a message to keep everybody updated !
